The original fragrances, Yapana (initially produced in 1922), Brume d’Hiver (1922), Etoile d’Or (1925), and Perlerette (1925), were expertly crafted by Amelie Bourgeois, the current perfumer of the esteemed house. These scents were reintroduced to the market in 2013 after Bourgeois meticulously maintained their refined essence while enhancing them with delicate nuances and subtleties. This voyage through time has led her to discover forgotten raw materials, reflecting the intuitive, sensitive, and creative nature of perfumery. With access to the original precious formulas, Bourgeois has unveiled numerous secrets to be shared with discerning modern consumers.
An inherent olfactory connection unites all Volnay perfumes. They share a base known as “4092,” which is characterized by a powdery blend of rose, vanilla, and clove.
