Tommy Bahama

Tommy Bahama, a lifestyle brand that falls under the umbrella of Oxford Industries, specializes in the production and sale of casual sportswear for both men and women. While they initially gained recognition for their printed silk shirts, the brand has since expanded its product range to include swimwear, footwear, denim, accessories, watches, umbrellas, fragrance, and even home furnishings. To enhance the overall shopping experience, Tommy Bahama has established restaurants in prime locations, primarily in Florida, California, and Hawaii. Notably, the company entered the realm of branded beverages in 2007 with their own rum. In 2009, they also secured a deal with the professional Baseball League of the USA, resulting in the production of limited edition camp shirts adorned with brand logos. Tommy Bahama merchandise is available for purchase in renowned department stores as well as standalone stores across the United States. The brand ventured into the fragrance industry in 2005 with their inaugural perfume release. Over the years, Tommy Bahama has introduced a range of fragrances, each offering a distinctive olfactory experience. For instance, Tommy Bahama for Women, composed by Jean-Claude Delville, is a white floral fragrance with notes of cactus flower, clementine, bergamot, Hawaii tuberose, frangipani flower, honeysuckle, exotic woods, nectarine, and musk. On the other hand, Tommy Bahama Men, created by blending spicy and herbal notes of coriander, ginger, amber, patchouli, musk, pepper, and bergamot, exudes a fresh yet warm aura. In 2006, the brand introduced Tommy Bahama Very Cool for women and Tommy Bahama Very Cool for men, which showcased distinct combinations of ingredients. Jean-Claude Delville formulated the fragrance for women, which features clementine, pomegranate, tangerine, hibiscus, cassia, cactus flower, nectarine, and musk. Meanwhile, the men’s version, created by Harry Fremont and Ilias Ermenidis, encompasses notes of ginger, mandarin orange, bergamot, nutmeg, paprika, and vetiver. In 2007, Tommy Bahama unveiled Set Sail St. Barts for both men and women, aiming to capture the essence of the island of St. Barts in a fragrant duo with a tequila twist. The men’s version consists of lime, tequila, guava, green notes, salt, musk, vanille, and palm leaf, while the women’s edition revolves around tequila, lime, floral notes, sand, guaiac wood, and musk. Set Sail South Seas for men and women hit the market in 2008, with the women’s fragrance blending floral and citrus notes, apple, pear, marigold, and water lily, while the men’s version showcases dominant notes of lime, mandarin orange, violet, juniper, cognac, cardamom, woodsy notes, rum, and amber. Since then, Tommy Bahama has continued to release several fragrances for both men and women, amounting to a total of 27 perfumes in their collection. This expansive assortment was crafted in collaboration with esteemed perfumers such as Frank Voelkl, Raymond Matts, Annie Buzantian, Ilias Ermenidis, Jean Claude Delville, and Harry Fremont.
