Samuel Timothy “Tim” McGraw is an esteemed American country singer and actor, who is happily married to fellow singer Faith Hill. Since his introduction to the music scene in the early 1990s, he has experienced remarkable success and has become one of the most celebrated male singers in the country music genre. McGraw has released numerous multi-platinum albums that showcase his unique blend of commercial country, updated honky tonk, country-rock, and contemporary ballads.

Hailing from Louisiana, McGraw was raised in a vibrant musical environment. After completing his studies in sports medicine, he decided to wholeheartedly pursue a career in music. For a few years, he honed his skills by performing and singing in the lively Nashville club scene. It was in 1993 that McGraw released his highly anticipated debut album.

McGraw’s breakthrough hit, “Indian Outlaw,” also known as “Not a Moment Too Soon,” emerged in 1994. This memorable track not only reached the top ten of the country charts but also crossed over to the pop top twenty. The accompanying album, which sold over five million copies, claimed the number one spot on both the country and pop album charts, establishing itself as the best-selling country album of the year.

A significant milestone in McGraw’s career was his extensive tour in 1996, in which he was supported by the talented opening act, Faith Hill. It was during this time that McGraw and Hill, two highly esteemed figures in country music, entered into a union that garnered significant media attention. McGraw’s subsequent album, “Everywhere,” released in 1997, featured a powerful duet with Hill titled “It’s Your Love.” The duo’s second collaboration, “Just to Hear You Say That You Love Me,” was released in 1998.

With the overwhelming success of “Everywhere,” which achieved multi-platinum status, McGraw was poised to become the contemporary country king, challenging the reign of Garth Brooks. In 1999, he reached new heights with “A Place in the Sun,” a triple-platinum album that dominated both the country and pop charts. The year 2000 brought him his first Grammy award for Best Country Vocal Collaboration, for his duet with Hill on her album, “Breathe,” titled “Let’s Make Love.”

In 2001, McGraw achieved yet another milestone with his album “Set This Circus Down,” which spawned four more number one hits on the charts. The release of his self-titled album, “Tim McGraw,” in late 2002 further solidified his status as a country music icon. Notably, the album included a soulful cover of Elton John’s classic song, “Tiny Dancer.” In 2004, McGraw showcased his versatility by co-mixing and producing his album “Live Like You Were Dying,” which was recorded with his loyal road band. “Let It Go” followed in 2007, with “Southern Voice” released in 2009. In 2011, McGraw made a notable appearance in the film “Country Strong.” His most recent album, “Emotional Traffic,” was finally released in January of 2012.

In addition to his musical accomplishments, McGraw has also successfully ventured into the fragrance industry. In 2008, he collaborated with Coty to launch his debut fragrance for men, “McGraw by Tim McGraw.” This woody-spicy fragrance opens with notes of bergamot and nutmeg, while its heart combines the opulence of lavender with the allure of moss and Artemisia. The base notes feature a harmonious blend of amber, patchouli, sandalwood, and tonka, intensified by hints of whiskey.

The following year, in 2009, Coty Beauty and Tim McGraw unveiled another captivating fragrance named “Southern Blend.” This fragrance deviates from the traditionally French-inspired names of fragrances, such as McGraw’s first edition, “Tim McGraw.” Instead, “Southern Blend” was crafted to be an approachable and everyday scent that exudes strength and charisma. The composition encompasses elements that embody a Southern man – masculine, charismatic, strong, yet also undeniably sexy. It harmoniously blends grapefruit, star anise, bergamot, lavender, violet leaf, whiskey, vetiver, amber, and tobacco. The esteemed perfumer Richard Herpin from Firmenich was responsible for developing this exceptional fragrance. McGraw currently has a total of seven fragrances in our fragrance base. The earliest edition dates back to 2008, while the newest addition was introduced in 2013. McGraw’s fragrance line was created in collaboration with Coty and Richard Herpin, epitomizing the harmonious fusion of talent and creativity.
