Nathan Motylinski, an entrepreneur and owner of The Fragrance Design Studio (formerly known as Le Cherche Midi), possesses a rare talent for turning concepts and ideas into reality. His expertise in fragrance-related design and utility patents is reflected in his ability to assist companies of all sizes with fragrance and product development. At the helm of The Fragrance Design Studio, Nathan strives to deliver exceptional fragrances that exceed expectations.
Cécile Hua, a perfumer hailing from Marseille, France, discovered her calling to become a perfumer at a young age. Equipped with a Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Cécile laid the foundation of her technical knowledge for the creation of exquisite fragrances. Her remarkable talent led her to be handpicked to attend the esteemed Givaudan Perfumery School in Grasse. Graduating as the top student from this prestigious institution, Cécile embarked on a journey to New York to pursue her passion further.
In 2003, Cécile achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first recipient of the Fashion Group International ‘Rising Star Award’ for Fragrance Design. Her creativity and imagination have since guided the creation of numerous iconic fragrances in collaboration with renowned celebrities and brands such as Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Estée Lauder, L’Oreal, Abercrombie & Fitch, Brooks Brothers, David Yurman, Vera Wang, Michael Kors, Alfred Dunhill, FCUK, Gendarme, Henri Bendel, MAC Cosmetics, Fresh, Park Hyatt, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
The Fragrance Design Studio, under Cécile Hua’s direction, boasts an impressive collection of 22 perfumes within their fragrance base. Established as a new fragrance brand in 2012, The Fragrance Design Studio consistently introduces captivating scents, with the most recent addition released in 2015.
