Monique Plair, a survivor of domestic violence, has embarked on a noble endeavor by introducing BU – Beautiful Unapologetically®, a fragrance line that pays homage to the strength and resilience of women. With every purchase, 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Our Safe House, LLC, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence.

BU – Beautiful Unapologetically® products have been created by women, for women, with the objective of inspiring and liberating them from the fear and suffering associated with domestic violence. Throughout the entire process, domestic violence survivors are actively involved in the planning and formulation of these scents.

The 10% portion of the proceeds that are donated back to Our Safe House, LLC will be utilized to equip survivors of domestic violence with essential resources such as enrichment programs, mental health counseling, emergency housing, and business attire, among other valuable provisions.

Monique A. Plair, the Founder of the fragrance line, has personally endured domestic violence in her childhood and as a military spouse. After escaping her tumultuous circumstances alongside her two sons, Monique faced homelessness and numerous difficulties. However, she arose above these challenges, pursued her dream, and joined the Navy. Encouraged by the support she received from fellow women, Monique became inspired to acquire resources for safe housing and extend this aid to other women suffering from domestic violence.

Our Safe House, LLC, endeavors to commemorate the bravery of women survivors of domestic abuse who are still with us, sharing their stories, as well as honor the memories of those who have tragically lost their lives and been silenced forever.
