Through my time at The Honest Company, I gained a heightened sense of awareness regarding the products I use on my body. Perfume, in particular, intrigued me as it lingers on the skin throughout the day. I embarked on a search for a fragrance free from allergens and harmful chemicals, while also emanating a fresh and sophisticated scent. However, my quest proved inconclusive. This realization sparked the inspiration behind Skylar, a brand I sought to establish. To my surprise, I discovered that many of my friends and their acquaintances were also in pursuit of such a fragrance. Engaging in heartfelt conversations with these women, I gleaned valuable insights that ultimately shaped the essence of Skylar. To bring this vision to life, I collaborated closely with esteemed perfumers and conducted extensive real-life testing, resulting in a collection of perfumes that finally provided the answer we were all seeking.
