Shaik, the fragrance line, was born in the magical land of Arabia, specifically in Bahrain. Just like a fairytale with no limitations, the brand’s founder, Mohammed Al Asfoor, desired to present a fragrance line that embraces creativity and unrestricted beauty.

The brand places great importance not only on the values that drive their products but also on the presentation of their outer cartons. Each fragrance is meticulously crafted by hand using the finest French ingredients, showcasing the attention to detail and commitment to quality that Designer Shaik is known for. The initial collection, Opulent Blue, debuted in 2007 and comprises two fragrances: Opulent Shaik No 33 for women and Opulent Shaik No 77 for men. These opulent creations feature over a hundred ingredients, including natural oils and essences sourced from the south of France.

The bottles themselves are works of art, originating from France and Italy, and adorned with elements such as silver and Swarovski crystals for the Classic editions, and gold, sapphires, and diamonds for the Precious editions. The brand plans to release even more luxurious editions, such as the Platinum collection, along with a line of precious wristwatches and the opening of their own boutiques.

The men’s fragrance bottle, Opulent (100ml or 3.4 fl. oz.), is reminiscent of flowing Bedouin dress in the wind. Solid, weighty, and exquisitely designed, it evokes the image of a strong and romantic prince of the desert. The fragrance itself is a rich composition of precious components, including spices, precious woods, irresistible musk, and wild flowers and herbs.

The women’s fragrance bottle (40ml or 1.39 fl. oz.) takes the shape of a traditional short double-bladed dagger called khunja, mirroring the seductive curves of the female body. The fragrance composition, like its masculine counterpart, blends spices, woodsy notes, musk, and wild flowers, creating a softer and more feminine scent.

Designer Shaik currently offers six perfumes in its fragrance base. The earliest edition was introduced in 2007, with the latest creation being unveiled in 2013.
