The Scent of Finland brand was established in 2018 with the concept of “The Fragrance of Memory,” which emphasizes the powerful relationship between smell and emotions. According to this concept, a perfume has the ability to evoke vivid memories. In the brain, memories are stored through a network of interconnected neurons. The stronger the connections between these neurons, the stronger the memory becomes. In a similar way, a perfume is a representation of the connections between different molecules, which together create something remarkable. Therefore, a perfume is essentially a memory in itself, waiting to be discovered by someone and composing a memory in their brain.

The idea behind the Scent of Finland Eau de Parfum series was to create high-quality fragrances inspired by Finland’s iconic natural landscapes, infused with the Nordic spirit, culture, and aesthetics. To bring this vision to life, we collaborated with renowned French perfumer Maud Chabanis, who spent several weeks in Finland researching the essence of its nature. Drawing from her memories and experiences of the country, Maud Chabanis crafted unique scent formulas.

By connecting scent with memory, our aim is to provide those who have visited Finland with strong reminders of the special moments, wonders, and adventures they experienced during their travels. Additionally, offering Scent of Finland as a gift allows individuals to share their emotional connection to the country through the art of fragrance.

Scent of Finland is an artistic interpretation of Finland, with each fragrance representing different perspectives on the country’s natural beauty. From the enchanting magic lights to the vast forests, the mesmerizing blue waters, and the refreshing clean air, every aspect of Finland has been reflected in the Scent of Finland Eau de Parfum series.

To date, the Scent of Finland brand has launched four perfumes in our fragrance base, all of which were introduced in 2020.
