Santiago Burgas Bou is a highly respected creative director known for his brand, Santi Burgas. Born in Torroella de Montgri in 1985, he has always held a deep love for his homeland, Baix Emporda and Costa Brava. It was at a young age of six when he first discovered his passion for textiles and needlework, immersing himself in the art of sewing and embroidery.
His formal education in the arts took place at the Art High School (E. A. Olot, Girona), where he honed his skills in various artistic techniques, including the intricate art of serigraphy. In 2008, he proudly graduated in Textile Design from the renowned School of Design ESDI in Barcelona.
Since 2005, Santiago has been actively involved in numerous prestigious design projects for renowned companies such as Zara, Nike, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, and more. However, his work stands out for its particular focus on nature and insects, with his projects often centered around observing the life and behavior of ants.
In 2010, Santiago made an impressive decision to expand his creative repertoire by introducing a unique collection of niche perfumes to complement his men’s collections. This addition allowed him to infuse his artistic spirit into high-quality fragrances that exude sophistication and individuality.
Under the brand name Santi Burgas, Santiago has created a remarkable portfolio of 24 perfumes, each showcasing his artistic vision and passion. The brand itself is relatively new, with the earliest fragrance edition dating back to 2010 and the most recent release in 2022. Collaborating with talented perfumers such as Santi Burgas, Blanca Dalmau, Chris Maurice, Rodrigo Flores-Roux, and Rosendo Mateu, the Santi Burgas fragrances are a testament to Santiago’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
