Born in 1945 in Verino (Ourense), Spain, Manuel Roberto Marino, better known as Roberto Verino, is a highly esteemed Spanish fashion designer. With a background in Fine Arts and Business, Verino pursued his studies in Paris. However, due to family obligations, he temporarily withdrew from the fashion scene until 1982, when he unveiled his first women’s “ready to wear” collection under his own label, Roberto Verino.
In 1992, Verino achieved another milestone by opening his first boutique in Paris, concurrently launching his inaugural fragrance, aptly named Verino. This marked the beginning of his foray into the world of perfumery.
Renowned for his distinct olfactory creations, Roberto Verino has amassed an impressive collection of 19 perfumes to date. Spanning from 1992 to 2017, each fragrance bears the mark of Verino’s luxury and craftsmanship. Collaborating with esteemed perfumers such as Agusti Vidal, Olivier Polge, Jean Charles Niel, Veronique Nyberg, Christine Nagel, Christiane Plos, Domitille Michalon Bertier, Jean-Christophe Hérault, Benoist Lapouza, Gerard Anthony, Richard Herpin, Alberto Morillas, Olivier Cresp, Francis Deleamont, and Ilias Ermenidis, Verino has continually pushed the boundaries of creativity in the perfume industry.
