During the 1990s, Prin Lomros, the founder and perfumer of PRYN PARFUM, discovered his deep passion for perfumes at a young age. As he began collecting fragrances, he became enamored with the art of scent and realized his unique ability to recall memories through olfaction. Driven by the desire to share stories through the medium of perfume, Prin made it his mission to obtain a formal education in perfume science. However, he soon discovered that academic programs focused on this atypical subject were scarce.
Adapting to this challenge, Prin pursued a degree in film instead, as it provided him with an alternative platform to tell stories through another art form. In a serendipitous turn of events, one of his films caught the attention of his advisor, resulting in its selection for submission at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Eager to explore the world of perfume further, he took the opportunity to extend his stay and delve into the rich fragrance history of Grasse, the renowned perfume capital of the world. It was there that he finally had the chance to acquire comprehensive knowledge about traditional blending techniques alongside modern methods.
Returning to Thailand, Prin embarked on a career as a perfumer, allowing him to immerse himself further in the art of fragrance creation. In his leisure time, he tirelessly experimented with various combinations of notes, drawing inspiration from his worldly travels. After years of devoted experimentation, he felt compelled to share his unique creations with the world. In January 2016, PRYN PARFUM was launched as a testament to his personal journeys. Each perfume within the collection embodies Prin’s passion for diverse art forms, encapsulating the essence of his various inspirations and stories. These scents serve as distinct pathways, transporting individuals to specific places, spaces, and moments in time.
