Initially, Valentine contemplated using his family members’ names as titles for his perfumes. However, he soon realized the potential for misinterpretation and opted instead for utilizing dates of birth. This approach not only pays homage to the individuals who inspire each fragrance but also transports the wearer to a specific era associated with that particular date. For instance, Valentine’s own fragrance takes us back to the vibrant and dynamic era of the 1980s, while the scent representing Carl Andrea Pozzo di Borgo transports us to an entirely different epoch.
