Pino Silvestre, known as “Scots Pine” in Italian, is a renowned men’s fragrance that first debuted in 1955. This iconic scent is characterized by its distinct pine aroma, which is expertly blended with traditional masculine fragrance notes such as lavender, basil, spices, and moss. Housed in a unique green pinecone-shaped bottle, Pino Silvestre has established itself as a timeless and affordable classic for men.
Originally formulated by chemist Lino Vidal, ownership of the fragrance and brand changed hands multiple times over the years. In 1986, Massimo, a descendant of the Vidal family, founded MaVive and subsequently reacquired the Pino Silvestre brand along with the fragrance that had been crafted by earlier generations of his family. Today, the original version of Pino Silvestre is available as Pino Silvestre Original, and several flankers have been introduced over time.
