Founded in 1967 by brothers Jonas and Robert af Jochnick, along with business partner Bengt Hellsten, Oriflame is a renowned Swedish cosmetics company. The name “Oriflame” is inspired by the medieval French royal banner that symbolizes a brilliant flame, translating to “Gold Flame.” Operating through a vast independent sales force of over 3.6 million individuals, Oriflame directly markets its products to consumers. What began as a modest two-room office in Stockholm expanded to the Scandinavian countries in the 1960s and reached the United Kingdom in 1970. The company’s factories are located in Poland, India, Sweden, China, and Russia.
