Celine Verleure, an esteemed professional in the perfume industry, introduced a distinctive line of niche fragrances in 2011. Drawing from her extensive expertise, Celine initially launched a blog where she sought inspiration and ideas from her readers, exploring the untapped scents yet to be created. It was through this creative process that the Olfactive Studio line emerged.
Olfactive Studio seamlessly merges the realms of modern art photography and perfumery, as both mediums have the ability to capture a moment in time and evoke its atmosphere. This unique concept is best described as “an encounter between contemporary artistic photography and perfumery; between the eye and the nose…It is at the crossroads of a photographic studio and a perfume design studio.”
The initial three perfumes in the collection were inspired by the themes of self-portrait, dark chamber, and still life. Celine Verleure conceptualized the names for these fragrances before granting creative freedom to three different photographers to bring their interpretations to life. These captivating images, in turn, served as inspiration for the skilled perfumers who meticulously crafted the compositions.
With a repertoire of 20 exquisite perfumes, designer Olfactive Studio has firmly established itself as a prominent fragrance brand. The inaugural fragrance was introduced in 2011, and the most recent addition to the collection hails from 2023. Collaborating with esteemed perfumers such as Nathalie Lorson, Dorothée Piot, Annick Menardo, Sidonie Lancesseur, Olivier Cresp, Jérôme Epinette, Mylène Alran, Clement Gavarry, Thomas Fontaine, Dora Baghriche, Bertrand Duchaufour, Dominique Ropion, and Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, Olfactive Studio continues to captivate discerning perfume enthusiasts with their innovative creations.
