Mona Di Orio Parfums is a distinguished fragrance house that was co-founded by Mona Di Orio and Jeroen Oude Sogtoen. With a wealth of experience as a classically trained perfumer under the mentorship of the esteemed Master Perfumer Edmond Roudnitska, Mona Di Orio embarked on her own creative journey. In collaboration with Jeroen Oude Sogtoen, a former fashion and interior designer who established his own successful brand, Hotel Cosmetics, the duo established the fragrance house in 2004.
Tragically, Mona Di Orio passed away in December 2011 at the young age of 42. Despite this devastating loss, Jeroen Oude Sogtoen has admirably carried on the legacy of the house, ensuring that the exquisite perfumes created by Mona Di Orio continue to captivate fragrance enthusiasts. The fragrances from Mona Di Orio Parfums are not only inspired by the allure of bygone eras but also infused with a forward-thinking approach.
The launch of their inaugural fragrances took place in 2006, captivating the industry with their exceptional craftsmanship and artistic vision. In 2010, the brand introduced the distinguished Les Nombres D’Or line, a collection that draws inspiration from the mathematical principle known as the “Golden Ratio.” This line delves into the exploration of classic fragrance accords, such as leather, musk, and vanilla, while exhibiting meticulous attention to ingredients and proportion. The aim is to achieve a harmonious, olfactive masterpiece, meticulously crafted with care.
Under the direction of Jeroen Oude Sogtoen, Mona di Orio Parfums continues to innovate and create perfumes that are cherished by fragrance aficionados worldwide. With an impressive portfolio boasting 31 fragrances, the brand has collaborated with renowned perfumers Fredrik Dalman, Mona di Orio herself, and Melanie Leroux, further elevating their olfactory creations.
