Established in 2014, Manos Gerakinis Perfumes stands as the pioneering niche luxury Greek Perfume House. Each of our creations is crafted with a profound appreciation for nature, history, and art, infused with genuine emotion. Combining these elements with the artistic sensibility of our founder and creative director, Manos Gerakinis, our perfumes embody his childhood memories of the bountiful harvest of roses, saffron, tobacco, labdanum, and honey. Additionally, Manos’s flair for painting, sophisticated sense of style, and fascination with history, philosophy, and culture serve as the cornerstones of our House.

Manos’s personal creative journey commenced during his formative childhood years in Kavala, Greece, where he was immersed in the rich cultural influences of this historical city and his Istanbul-originated family. From drawing lessons to a love for music and poetry, and even staging plays at school, Manos cultivated his artistic inclinations. After obtaining a degree in International and European Studies, he further enriched his experiences through postgraduate studies in London, where he resided for over a decade, working in the luxury sector and traveling extensively. It was during this time that Manos developed an eclectic taste, an eye for detail, an appreciation for fine craftsmanship, and a profound respect for all cultures.
Returning to Greece in 2012 after completing his military service, which further emphasized the importance of fashion and perfume as vehicles of self-expression, Manos decided to stay and pursue a professional endeavor reflective of his artistic spirit. The idea of creating wearable art that would signify various moods and sentiments led Manos to orchestrate the creation of a bespoke perfume initially intended solely for his personal use. The captivating and powerful fragrance, composed of his favorite spicy, floral, woody, and ambery notes, garnered tremendous admiration whenever he wore it. This overwhelming response inspired him to establish his own Perfume House, with that particular fragrance, named “Sillage Royal,” becoming the inaugural release of Manos Gerakinis Perfumes.
Thus, began an exhilarating new journey that unfolded with subsequent releases of supreme-quality fragrances, precious limited editions, significant artistic collaborations, and an unwavering passion for envisioning future perfumes. To enrich the multisensory experience of Manos Gerakinis’s creative universe, we also offer high-quality candles and fine silk scarves that add visual and tactile dimensions to the olfactory journey.
Designer Manos Gerakinis has created 20 perfumes in our fragrance base, showcasing our commitment to craftsmanship and individuality. As a relatively new fragrance brand, our first edition was introduced in 2014, with the most recent release in 2023. Collaborating with perfumers Chris Maurice and Miguel Matos, each fragrance encapsulates our dedication to producing exquisite scents.
