Founder Hadi Masmoum, hailing from a lineage of perfume merchants in Damascus, the world’s oldest capital, founded MAJOURI in 2017 with a vision of reviving and modernizing heritage. Masmoum’s profound passion lies in the South of France, particularly in Grasse, where he studied perfumery. Entranced by the luminosity of the region—a light that permeates across the Mediterranean basin—he found inspiration in both the Rose de Grasse and the Damask Rose, which are emblematic of his ancestral origins. The name MAJOURI pays tribute to these shared experiences, fusing together the Arabic word for water, “Maa,” and the term “Jouri,” representing the Damask Rose.
MAJOURI encapsulates an olfactive encounter—a convergence where unwavering passion meets enlightening perspective, and the past intertwines with the future. Every MAJOURI fragrance is painstakingly crafted in France, incorporating scent and sensibility into a tangible form.
