FITS, a prominent Japanese corporation, has recently unveiled an exquisite collection of fragrances known as “Love Passport”. This line of perfumes draws inspiration from the pure and unconditional nature of love. Aiming to establish a connection between scent and this universal theme, Love Passport Parfums presents a captivating assortment of love stories symbolized by each fragrance bottle within the collection.
The concept for these fragrances was derived from the iconic characters created by Raymond Peynet, a globally acclaimed illustrator renowned for his works centered around love. Born in Paris in 1908, Peynet completed his studies at the School of Arts and subsequently worked as a draftsman for the commercial agency Tolmer. In 1930, he married Denise Damour and began submitting his drawings to various well-known Parisian newspapers, such as le Rire, Rire à deux, Paris Magazine, and The Boulevardier, in order to supplement his income. However, it was in 1942 that his life took an unexpected turn.
That year, Peynet sketched “Les Amoureux” – The Lovers – depicting two simple figures whose endearing facial expressions enthralled people around the world. This drawing catapulted him to great success, and subsequently, he created over 6,000 more illustrations revolving around “The Lovers” theme, firmly establishing himself as one of France’s most celebrated illustrators.
Since their debut, The Lovers have been immortalized in various forms, adorning scarves, books, medals, pendants, and other objects symbolizing love. The Love Passport fragrances serve as a continuation of this enchanting romantic story. Renowned perfumer Henri Bergia meticulously crafted each scent, catering to young women who value individuality, creativity, and an unwavering passion for life. Every fragrance within the collection tells its own unique love story, evoking an array of emotions including sheer bliss, romance, style, and an unwavering affection. With a range of 19 perfumes, Love Passport has established itself as a prominent fragrance brand. The initial edition was introduced in 2008, with the latest addition released in 2011.
