Jelena von Olnhausen was born in Moscow and had the opportunity to travel to numerous countries during her childhood, including Switzerland, Spain, England, Greece, Morocco, and France. Her father, a Russian diplomat and businessman, had a unique fragrance crafted for her mother in the South of France, based on an ancient recipe. This perfume recipe had been passed down through her family for generations, originating from a French soldier who found solace as a French teacher in the family’s ancestral palace after the Coalition Wars. As a gesture of gratitude, he sought to bestow upon the lady of the palace a timeless fragrance. It was during this time, in the picturesque South of France, that Jelena witnessed the production of the perfume and discovered her passion for creating scents that would endure in people’s lives, much like their personal love stories.

After completing her studies in business and gaining experience as a publisher for various luxury magazines, Jelena partnered with renowned French perfumer Michel Almairac and esteemed designer Thierry de Baschmakoff to turn her dream into reality. They embarked on a two-year collaboration, during which they created a collection of six unique fragrances. Each fragrance, delicately enclosed in exquisite packaging, contains captivating love stories that evoke a profound and personal experience for the wearer.

LEN Fragrance Gallery was founded in 2015 as a result of a collaboration between Jelena von Olnhausen, an art collector and publisher, and Silvio Denz, the owner of Lalique SA and several perfume brands. During her time in Paris, Jelena met and partnered with Thierry de Baschmakoff, the esteemed French designer and owner of Aesthete Group and the Different Company, for the design of the packaging and bottles. She also collaborated with French perfumer Michel Almairac (Robertet) to create a special perfume that embodies a private love story – a fragrance that captures the essence of a personal history.

In her pursuit of bringing her vision to life, Jelena joined forces with Marianna Belchanskaja to develop a comprehensive collection of fragrances. And so, the dream began. LEN Fragrance Gallery unveils an introduction consisting of SIX OLFACTORY LOVE STORIES: JEUX DANGEREUX, PRIVAROT, CRYSTAL BOMB, JUST ROULETTE, SHE&MALE, and TRY TO FOLLOW ME. Each fragrance encapsulates a unique and personal narrative, brought forth through extraordinary and luxurious packaging.

Designer Len Fragrances now boasts a collection of 12 perfumes in our fragrance base. Considered a new fragrance brand, Len Fragrances debuted its earliest edition in 2019, with the latest creation launching in 2023. Collaborating with esteemed perfumers Mirella Pomina, Maurus Bachmann, David Chieze, Michel Almairac, Daniela Marty, Mark Buxton, and Sidonie Grandperret, Len Fragrances continues to create captivating scents that resonate with individuals seeking incomparable style and sophistication.
