Lazarus Douvos is a highly acclaimed hair stylist with a global reputation. Born to Greek immigrants in Melbourne, Australia, Lazarus initially pursued a career as a ballet dancer before immersing himself in the world of hairdressing. He gained valuable experience working for prestigious salons like Rakis and swiftly made a name for himself by styling hair for fashion shoots, demonstrations, seminars, and providing creative direction.

In the early 1990s, Lazarus relocated to Florence, Italy, where he was introduced to the realm of luxury. He became an exclusive senior stylist and consultant for renowned fashion houses such as Gucci and Salvatore Ferragamo. Lazarus has also served as a personal stylist to fashion stars in Italy and New York, leaving his mark by creating editorial looks for prominent publications like US Vogue and collaborating with celebrity labels like the ADIDAS Selena Gomez Collection.

Driven by years of experience working with various haircare brands and recognizing the confusion women face due to an overwhelming number of product options, Lazarus felt compelled to develop his own streamlined haircare collection. Combining his deep passion for his craft and his love for fragrances, he dreamt of infusing the emotional connection that perfumes evoke into the ritual of haircare. This led him to create his first fragrance line, known as 1845 Rose, which comprises an Eau de Parfum, Shampoo, Hair oil, and Conditioner.

Lazarus Douvos, as a designer, has expanded his expertise by extending into the world of fragrances. With four perfumes in our fragrance base, Lazarus Douvos is a rising fragrance brand. The inaugural edition was launched in 2020, followed by a latest addition in 2022. Collaborating with esteemed perfumers Christophe Laudamiel and Jean Claude Delville, Lazarus Douvos fragrances are a testament to his artistic vision and olfactory mastery.
