In autumn 2008, the brand HUMIECKI & GRAEF was launched by designers Sebastian Fischenich and Tobias Müksch, introducing a collection of five luxurious perfumes: Skarb, Geste, Eau Radieuse, Multiple Rouge, and Askew. Each fragrance is a work of art with a modern, sleek design. Unique and unconventional, these perfumes embody various aspects of human emotion, ranging from anger to happiness. HUMIECKI & GRAEF brings a fresh perspective to the luxury perfume market, reimagining and redefining every aspect, from concept development to packaging.
The brand name itself holds special significance, as it pays tribute to the designers’ grandmothers by incorporating their maiden names. This thoughtful gesture adds a personal touch and creates a fragrant memorial to these exceptional women.
The creation of HUMIECKI & GRAEF fragrances involved a close collaboration with renowned perfumers Christophe Laudamiel and Christoph Hornetz, collectively known as LES CHRISTOPHS. These perfumers are known for pushing the boundaries of their craft, utilizing advanced techniques to achieve artistic visions. By employing a unique star-shaped “fragrance architecture,” LES CHRISTOPHS capture the complex nature of emotions that encompass multiple feelings simultaneously. Perfumer Laudamiel’s remark on the project emphasizes the exceptional nature of each fragrance, requiring a departure from conventional approaches.
With a perfume oil concentration ranging from 20% to 25%, the “Eaux de Toilettes Concentrées” from HUMIECKI & GRAEF surpass the standard concentration found in most Eaux de Perfumes. This elevated concentration ensures a potent and long-lasting fragrance experience.
As of now, Humiecki & Graef has proudly introduced 15 distinct fragrances to their collection. The brand’s launch in 2009 marked the beginning of their journey, and since then, they have continued to release new fragrances, with the most recent addition being in 2014.
