Guy Laroche, a renowned French fashion designer and the founder of the eponymous company, played a significant role in shaping the fashion industry. Armed with new knowledge, Laroche returned to Paris in 1957 and established his own label.

In 1966, Laroche expanded his creative arsenal by venturing into the realm of men’s fashion. Simultaneously, he made his foray into the world of fragrances. The iconic Fidji fragrance for women was launched in the same year, marking the beginning of a remarkable olfactory journey. In 1972, the brand introduced its first men’s fragrance, Drakkar, which later gained even greater popularity with the introduction of its successful flanker, Drakkar Noir, in 1982.
Although Guy Laroche sadly passed away in 1989, his fashion house and fragrances continue to make an indelible mark in the 21st century. In collaboration with L’Oreal, the company continues to offer an impressive range of fragrances. Guy Laroche boasts a fragrance portfolio of 14 distinctive scents, created by esteemed perfumers such as Daniel Moliere, Alain Astori, Max Gavarry, Michel Girard, Pierre Wargnye, and Josephine Catapano.
