Bois 1920 is an esteemed brand hailing from Florence, renowned for its collection of artisan perfumes. The Galardi family, who are deeply passionate about the art of perfume-making, have skillfully upheld this tradition for generations. At present, our line boasts more than thirty exquisite fragrances, each meticulously crafted to evoke inspiration and enrich the senses.
Our meticulous search for raw materials is a delicate balance between honoring tradition and embracing innovation, resulting in the creation of captivating olfactory compositions that are truly unique. It all began in 1920 when Guido Galardi, the founder’s grandfather, embarked on a transformative journey in his modest workshop in Florence. It was here that Guido began collecting the precious “Spigo” flowers, whose blooms grace the hills of Florence. Guido expertly blended various elements, including essential oils, scented solutions, and perfumed bags, ultimately giving birth to the esteemed brand known as Bottega Italiana Spigo 1920 (BOIS 1920). Over the years, BOIS 1920 has gained global recognition, attested by numerous prestigious awards.
In 2012, Bois 1920 received a distinguished honor when it was selected as one of the top five perfumes at the esteemed FiFi Awards, often referred to as the Oscars of the perfumery world. Today, Bois 1920 stands as a cherished addition to the niche perfumery sector, actively participating in the exploration and creation of new olfactory experiences meant to be cherished and adorned. As a renowned designer, Bois 1920 offers a remarkable collection of 54 perfumes within our fragrance base. Our earliest creation dates back to 2005, while our most recent addition hails from 2023.
