“As an artisan perfumer, I employ a meticulous process of infusing resins, woods, roots, and metals into alcohol to create my own unique solvents. These solvents serve as the foundation for dissolving rare and exceptional raw ingredients that I gather during my extensive travels. Through the method of steam distillation, I carefully extract the essential oils that form the basis of captivating aromas and fragrances.
Fueled by a passion for my craft, I prefer to work during the tranquil hours of the night. It is at this time that artificial lighting ceases its adulterating influence on my chemical compositions while the scents of the day dissipate, allowing space for new and exciting experiments in the realm of shadows. I take pride in merging ancient techniques with modern insights to create contemporary fragrances that evoke a sense of wonder and captivate the senses.
Drawing inspiration from my background in architecture and design, I have honed the skill of constructing scents layer by layer and, equally important, conceptualizing through the process of subtraction. Each perfume that I craft is akin to a distinctive room waiting to be discovered, complete with its own unique mood, texture, light, and color.
