Art of Scent – Swiss Perfumes, also known as Odem Swiss Perfumes, is the rebranded company founded by Brigitte Witschi. With a deep passion for scents and fragrances, Brigitte has dedicated herself to exploring the creative and sensual realm of perfumes in recent years.
Through her work with individuals who are visually impaired, Brigitte has honed her understanding of essences, ingredients, and aromas, as well as their positive effects. This unique experience has allowed her to experiment with scents as a means of connecting with and reaching out to her students, opening the doors to their sealed world. It was during this time that she began crafting her own blends of essential oils, which eventually led her to pursue formal training at the perfume academy in Grasse ASFO.
Now, as a skilled perfumer and scent designer, Brigitte finds immense joy in creating personal and one-of-a-kind fragrances. Her creative process starts with visualizing lush, green alpine meadows, reflecting on various emotions and experiences. Only then does she begin the meticulous task of mixing and blending numerous essences.
Brigitte’s perfume studio, Art of Scent-Swiss Perfumes, located in the heart of the Old Town of Bern, is where she brings her creations to life. From perfumes to room fragrances and personalized scents, each product is meticulously crafted using carefully selected essences and harmonious blends to fulfill every customer’s unique request.
In addition to her work as a perfumer, Brigitte takes pleasure in sharing her vast knowledge of the history of perfumes. She happily imparts her expertise to individuals of all ages through workshops, seminars, and company events. A visit to her studio offers an intriguing glimpse into the fascinating world of perfumers.
Art of Scent – Swiss Perfumes currently offers 18 perfumes in their fragrance base. As a new fragrance brand, their range extends from the earliest edition created in 2008 to the latest offering from 2013. All fragrances have been meticulously crafted by the talented nose of Brigitte Witschi.
