Antonio Alessandria, a native of Catania, Sicily, was born on March 30th, 1971. From an early age, he developed a keen interest in sensory experiences. Growing up surrounded by his mother’s fashion atelier and his sister’s piano studies, he initially pursued scientific studies and obtained a degree in Electronic Engineering. While working for a prominent semiconductor company, his passion for the world of fragrance never waned. It was during this time that he stumbled upon the realm of artistic perfumery, which left a lasting impression on him. This encounter ignited a desire within him to gain professional training in perfumery.

To pursue his newfound passion, Antonio underwent formal training at esteemed institutions such as Mouillettes and Co. in Italy and Cinquième Sens in Paris. He further honed his skills in fragrance formulation under the guidance of established independent perfumers. Eventually, driven by a burning desire to share his love for perfumery, he embarked on a venture to establish his own perfumery shop, Boudoir 36, in Catania. On October 31, 2005, Boudoir 36 opened its doors, quickly gaining recognition and acclaim both in Italy and abroad. In less than a decade, Antonio Alessandria’s expertise and creative flair have propelled him to the forefront of the artisanal perfumery scene.

In 2008, Antonio began crafting his own fragrances, prioritizing the expressive power of the ingredients he chose rather than budgetary constraints. His collection of scents made its debut in 2014, captivating fragrance enthusiasts around the world. Presently, the fragrance brand Antonio Alessandria boasts a portfolio of ten perfumes, with the earliest edition dating back to 2014 and the latest release in 2023. Notably, all of these fragrances bear the mark of Antonio Alessandria’s distinctive and expert craftsmanship, as he personally oversees every aspect of their creation.
