Alexandria Fragrances is an esteemed perfume brand that is owned and operated by Hany Hafez, a Cairo-born entrepreneur who now resides in Anaheim, California. Hailing from a family deeply immersed in the fragrance industry, Hany’s exposure to the enchanting world of scents began at a young age. In his childhood, he eagerly seized the opportunity to assist in his family’s shops, immersing himself in the art of perfumery. As time passed, Hany’s passion translated into a unique talent for blending oils and crafting his own fragrances.
Encouraged by the positive feedback he received from friends and family, Hany made the momentous decision to embark on his entrepreneurial journey, establishing his own shop in early 2002. Meanwhile, he also worked as a part-time tour guide, assuming the responsibility of directing tourists towards reputable establishments that offered essential and perfume oils. Precisely eight years later, he sought new adventures, briefly residing in Europe before eventually relocating to the United States in 2011 to be closer to his family.
Upon arriving in the States, Hany was struck by the exorbitant prices associated with niche fragrances. Believing that many of these luxurious scents did not sufficiently deliver on their promises, he felt compelled to offer a compelling alternative. Drawing upon his extensive fragrance-making background, Hany set out to create exceptional, competitively priced luxury fragrances that would truly captivate discerning fragrance enthusiasts.
In 2017, after dedicating several years to assisting others in bringing their fragrance brands to life, Hany confidently unveiled his very own house of fragrances: Alexandria Fragrances. Since its inception, the brand has steadily grown, boasting an impressive collection of 203 perfumes. With Hany Hafez as the mastermind behind these olfactory masterpieces, each meticulously crafted composition speaks volumes about his expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence.
