Airness is a renowned French brand specializing in sportswear and footwear. Established by Malamine Koné in 1999 in Saint-Denis, a suburb of Paris, France, the brand was created with the vision of offering high-quality sportswear rather than the “street wear” typically associated with suburban areas. Inspired by his idol, the legendary basketball player Michael Jordan, Koné named the brand “Airness,” incorporating his own boxer nickname, “The Panther,” into the brand’s logo which features a panther image.

Within a remarkably short span of six years, Airness established itself as a trusted supplier for professional football, securing its place in the exclusive circle of providers for renowned clubs and players. The brand has been sported by notable football figures such as Djibril Cisse, Jean-Pierre Papin, Daniel Van Buyten, Didier Drogba, Sylvain Wiltord, Guy Roux, Thierry Rolland, and many others. In 2004, Airness expanded its influence beyond France, signing its first contract to outfit the Stade Rennais football club, followed by partnerships with FC Nantes, Valenciennes FC, LOSC, AJA Auxerre, as well as international selections including Benin, Burkina Faso, Congo Brazzaville, Congo Kinshasa, Gabon, Guinea, and Mali. The brand further extended its reach to other sports such as boxing, basketball, rugby, and tennis, solidifying its position as a multi-sport brand.

Recognizing the potential for diversification, Airness collaborated with L’Oréal in 2008 to launch a fragrance line, marking its entry into the fragrance industry. As a new player in the fragrance domain, Airness introduced three captivating perfumes in 2008.
